Week 26: ik ga op vakantie en neem mee....part 1

De afgelopen week nog steeds niet heel veel handwerkerigs gedaan. Wel ben ik bezig geweest met het uitzoeken van mijn hobby spulletjes met twee doelen voor ogen: opgeruimd staat netjes (ook in mijn hoofd, want ik word echt onrustig van teveel rotzooi spul) en welke werkjes neem ik mee op vakantie? Het duurt nog even maar de voorbereiding is ook leuk!! :-)

Last week i didn't do as much as i wanted to. I have been busy with sorting out my stitchy stuff with two purposes: clean out (then it's clean in my head, because i can really get edgy from to much junk stuff). Second reason is: what should i take with me on my holiday? It's going to be a while from now, but i love the preparation!! :-)

Ik heb zo'n handig bakje met deksel waar een  hoop spulletjes in kunnen en die ben ik alvast aan het vullen met eventuele borduurwerkjes....lekkere kleine werkjes die ik makkelijk mee kan nemen. Daarbij zit o.a. een needlebook die bij de Cross Stitcher zat die ik op vakantie wil gaan maken tot een quilt naaldboekje speciaal voor mijn quiltnaalden. Natuurlijk maak ik deze niet zoals ie in de Cross Stitcher stond, maar een beetje op mijn eigen manier. In de Cross Stitcher stond ie zo:

I've got this box with lid in which i can store a whole lot of stuff and i'm fillling it with cross stitch kits at the moment.....little works which i can take with me on holiday. Amongst them there is this little kit which came with the Cross Stitcher: a little needlebook. I'm planning on making this on my holiday into a little quilt needlebook especially for my quilting needles. I'm not going to make it like in the Cross Stitcher, but a little bit my way. This is the Cross Stitcher way:

Maar ik wil 'm volledig rood en wit gaan maken met een van de afbeeldinkjes uit het patroon hieronder (van 't web geplukt en ik weet niet meer bij wie, maar als degene die dit plaatste dit leest: bedankt voor het delen). Zal ik het schaartje doen of toch de knopen of de vingerhoedjes?

I want to make this one in red and white with one of the pictures from the pattern below (got it from the world wide web and i don't know from who anymore, but when that someone reads my blog: thank you for sharing this one). What do you think: should i do the scissors or the buttons?

Ik ben overigens van plan om deze ook helemaal te maken!! Ik vind 'm zo lief. Dit zijn de spulletjes die ik erbij uitgezocht heb.

I'm planning on making this one completely in the future!! I love it. These are the things i sorted out for it.

Ik vind deze voorbereidingen zo leuk om te doen. Ik heb een aantal jaren geleden een borduurkoffer aangeschaft met de meest gangbare kleuren erin. Ik heb dus lekker kunnen kiezen welke kleur ik mee zal nemen.

I love doing these preparations. I purchased a box with the most used DMC skeins several years ago, so i get to choose from it which colour it will be.

Dit was 't voor wat betreft deel 1, dan mogen er nog stofjes uitgezocht worden. Wie weet neem ik wel een blok mee van de SC en ga ik daar lekker aan verder! Maar dat bewaar ik voor een andere keer, want zoals ik al zei: het duurt nog even voordat we op vakantie gaan.

This was it for part 1, i have to sort out some fabric too. Who knows i will bring a block from the SC with  me and i will work on that! But i will save that for another time, i already said it: it's going to be a while before we go on vacation.
