I watched the series #Fakeitandmakeit Julia from The Tattooed Crafter did together with Mrs. C. Scraps (both on YouTube) and decided to play along with the grid layout they made and which i loved....I chose 3 black and white photos and 1 base color patterned paper in aqua. The paper i used is from the Gather collection from Crate Paper. The wood veneer word Awesome is from a Dutch store Action (sort of a Dollar store). This is how it turned out.
I typed my journaling this time on my Vintage typewriter and love the look of it. I fussycut the flowers from the same paper pad (Gather collection Crate Paper) i used throughout my layout. If you know me a little you know i love to stitch (Cross Stitch is my first love in crafting) and i always try to include some stitching on my layouts. This time i decided to stitch between the pictures in the mustard color from the leaves of the flowers.
I also made some close-ups.
Now something about the photos. Me and my boyfriend usually try to walk each day after dinner in our own town and sometimes you discover some places you've never been before, although i have been living here for 20 years now. These little places are sometimes somewhat hidden, so this feeds on the feel of adventure! On one of these walks we found such a place. At first i thought it was private property, because there was a farmhouse next to this trail and it was a little hidden, but it was an actual trail. Because it was after dinner and the sun was going down, it caused beautiful pictures. I am most certainly going to go that trail again on another day!
Hope you enjoyed my blog! There is also a process video over on my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaSTGye6TnRt3qwF7LrvMrw
Hope you stop by some time! Till next time!
Creatively Yours, Debbie XO
